Apfelkuchen (German apple cake)


1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 egg
4 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3-4 apples, slices


Preheat over to 350 degree (180 centigrade).
Mix all ingredients together, except for apples. Then drop spoonfuls of thick dough and thinly sliced apples in your oven safe dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
