Chocolate Pudding (Crème dessert au chocolat)



1 litre whole milk
200gr dark chocolate
100gr (1/2 cup) sugar
50gr butter
40gr (1.5 ounce) all-purpose flour



On a medium heat melt the butter in a pot then all all the flour;
Add milk gradually while whisking until it starts to bubble and come to a boil;
Remove the pot from heat and add sugar and dark chocolate that is chopped in small pieces;
Put the pot back on the heat, cook it for 10-15 minutes, using a wooden spoon to stir;
Whisk the mixture constantly until thickened (just be careful that pudding will thicken more as it cools );
Remove from heat and pour it into small bowls;
Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours;
